10 days ex Lima
Day 1 Arrive Lima
Arrive in Lima at any time.
Day 2-3 Puno
Fly to Juliaca and drive to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Enjoy a day
trip out on the lake to visit Taquile and/or Amantani islands, stopping on the
floating reed islands of the Uros people, before returning to Puno for a second
night.
Day 4-6 Cuzco
Take in spectacular views of the Altiplano region on this full day of travel
from Puno to Cuzco. Enjoy scenic stops along the way before arriving in Cuzco;
the evening is free to relax. Spend a free day exploring this delightful town
on foot, go horseback riding, mountain biking, white water rafting or visit the
nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, a massive Incan fortress overlooking the city.
Day 7-8 Aguas Calientes /Machu Picchu/ Cuzco
A morning train takes us through the spectacular Urubamba Valley to the village
of Aguas Calientes. Enjoy the rest of the day taking advantage of the hikes and
hot springs in the area. Early wakeup on Day 8 to take the bus up to the historic
spiritual centre of the Incas, the "Lost City" of Machu Picchu. Take a guided
tour of the ruins, learning about the history and importance of Machu Picchu.
After our tour, continue exploring the ruins on your own or hike up spectacular
Wayna Picchu to get away from the crowds. Return to Cuzco by train in the evening.
Day 9 Cuzco / Lima
Do some last minute shopping or sightseeing in Cuzco before flying to Lima for
one last night out on the town.

Days 1-2 Rome
Feel the history while exploring the ancient streets of Rome - there's something
to see around every corner. Walk beneath the arches of the Colosseum, marvel at
the mighty Pantheon or discover the many pretty fountains and piazzas that dot
this marvellous city.
Day 3 Naples
The Phoenicians, Venetians, Africans and, of course, Romans have all left their
mark on this compelling port city. Take the afternoon to explore the beautiful
churches and museums to get a taste of Naples' fascinating past. There is also
plenty of time to discover the city's modern side: wander through the heaving
street markets and sample some world-famous Neopolitan pizza - the original, and
some claim, the best.
Days 4-5 Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius
The ruins of Pompeii capture a single moment in time - the day the entire city
was destroyed by a massive volcanic eruption 1928 years ago. The town's remains
lay covered in ash until its re-discovery in the 18th century. Wander through
these amazing ruins before trekking up the sleeping giant of Mount Vesuvius, for
a truly awe-inspiring insight into the power of nature.
Days 6-9 Amalfi Coast
Enjoy rocky coastlines, azure seas and clear blue skies from the picture-perfect
town of Sorrento. This has been a favourite tourist destination for at least 200
years and it's easy to see why. Walk along the 'Footpath of the Gods' for breathtaking
views, and perhaps take a ferry to the Isle of Capri to listen out for the songs
of the mythical Sirens. There is plenty of free time to relax in a sidewalk cafe
and soak up the lazy atmosphere of the famed Amalfi Coast.

Uncover India - Delhi to Goa
15 days Delhi to Goa
Day 1 Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi at any time.
Day 2 Agra
Agra is home to two of India's most famous landmarks: the Taj mahal and the Red
Fort. Ride one of the ubiquitous cycle rickshaws to move between both. Visit these
icons of Mughal architecture either in the early morning or late afternoon for
the best light.
Day 3-4 Jaipur
Travel to the Pink City of Jaipur. Home to India's second most visited site,
the Hawa mahal. Follow in the footsteps of the royal harem or ride an elephant
to the cliff top fort palace at Amber, one of the most spectacular in India.
Day 5-6 Pushkar
Site of the world's only temple to the Hindu god of creation Brahma, Pushkar
is often called Tirth Raj, the "King of Pilgrim Centres". If you're lucky, visit
the world famous annual Pushkar Camel Fair, complete with both livestock and craft
markets, camel races, concerts and exhibitions. Truly a sight to behold!
Day 7-9 Udaipur
Continue to Udaipur, famous for its plethora of breathtaking lakes and Raj-era
palaces. Most famous of these, and certainly the most photographed, is the Lake
Palace, an island-palace made of white marble buildings in Lake Pichola.
Day 10 Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad is home to Sabarmati Ashram, where Gandhi made his headquarters. And
equally famous is "Gujurati Thali" a delicious and distinct cuisine which will
definitely tickle your taste buds.
Day 11-12
Mumbai (Bombay)
Rise at dawn to watch the morning ritual at the Sassoon Docks, South Mumbai's
main fish loading and trading centre. Shoot a picture of the Gateway to India,
facing westward out to sea and stop in for a cup of tea at the famous Taj hotel
next door. From here, boats leave for Elephanta Island (also called Gharapuri
Island or Place of Caves), famous for is cave temples caved straight from the
rock. Day 13-14 Goa
Relax on a beach, visit the many Portuguese-built monuments, discover the churches
of Old Goa and take in as much of the incredible Goan food as you can - it's your
last chance!
Day 15 Depart Goa

Day 1 Amman
Arrive early and visit the site of Jesus' baptism by the banks of the River Jordan.
Days 2-3 Petra
The city of Petra is littered with amazing temples and tombs carved deep into
the mountainside, and there is plenty of time for exploration. Spend evenings
in the nearby township of Wadi Musa.
Day 4 Wadi Rum
Travel through extraordinary desert scenery and spend a memorable night sleeping
in rustic accommodation among our local Bedouin friends.
Days 5-6 Nuweiba
Snorkel through beautiful reefs or kick back on golden sands. Indulge in a fresh
seafood feast at the Red Sea beach camp of Nuweiba.
Day 7 Mt Sinai
Hike up the 3750 Stairs of Repentance (or take a camel) to enjoy fantastic views
from the top of Mt Sinai.
Days 8-9 Cairo
With its crowded souqs, treasure-filled museums and nearby pyramids, Cairo provides
the perfect end to this desert adventure.

Day 1 Arrive Cancún
Arrive in Cancún at any time. Day 2-3 Chichén Itzá / Mérida
Make a stop at the famous Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá before heading to the capital
of the Yucatán, Mérida. Explore the city’s museums, plazas, architecture, open
markets and outdoor cafés.
Day 4-6 Palenque
Enjoy a guided tour of Palenque ruins. The abundance of exotic wildlife and bountiful
flora found in the lush Chiapas jungle around Palenque is almost as impressive
as the ruins themselves.
Day 7 Tulúm / Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve (1B, 2L, 1D)
The picturesque seaside ruins of Tulúm await us after our night bus journey across
the Yucatán. Wander the ruins flanked by swaying palms and go for a dip in the
sparkling turquoise blue Caribbean Sea. Spend the night at the Sian Ka'an Biosphere
Reserve, an important protected Mexican area due to its diversity in bird and
animal species.
Day 8-9 Isla Mujeres
Travel by bus to Cancún then take a short ferry trip across to Isla Mujeres,
Spanish for the Island of Women. Swimming, snorkelling, diving and just soaking
up the sun are all island favourites. On our last evening together we board a
sailboat for a farewell, sunset cruise in the Caribbean (weather permitting).

Walk along the Great Wall of China, Be amazed by the ancient Terracotta Warriors,

Days 1-3 Beijing
The journey commences in one of the world's most impressive cities. Take in iconic
sights such as Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City and admire the impressive
Great Wall. Free time is a great chance to do some individual exploration of Beijing's
many sights, such as the Temple of Heaven or Lama Temple. In the evenings consider
taking in an awe-inspiring acrobatic performance or feasting on traditional Beijing
duck.
Days 4-5 Xi'an
Uncover ancient history on a day trip to the Terracotta Warriors. Archaeologists
believe followers of Emperor Qin sculpted the 6,000 warriors and placed them in
battle formation to protect him in the afterlife. Back in Xi'an, why not explore
the walled city centre or even join the locals in their daily tai chi practice?
Make new friends at Xi'an Huiling, a special community project for people with
disabilities.
Days 6-7 Suzhou
Grab a bicycle to explore the serene surrounds of Suzhou, taking in the famous
gardens, canals and alleyways of this charming town. Top off the experience with
an evening performance of traditional music, opera and theatre among the trees
and waterfalls of one of the gardens.
Days 8-9 Shanghai
Skyscrapers brush shoulders with colonial architecture in the diverse areas of
the Bund and Pudong. Get your bearings in its complex network of traditional Chinese
alleyways and be absorbed by art exhibits in the world class Shanghai Museum.
There is also plenty of free time to shop up a storm at Yuyuan Bazaar or even
get a taste of Europe in the French Concession.

Day 1 Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro at any time.
Day 2-4 Florianopolis
We leave Rio behind and fly to Florianopolis, the capital of the southern state
of Santa Catarina. The colonial city is famous for the stunning beaches on its
island part. Spend the next day exploring the many beaches in the area or wandering
the cobblestone streets of the centre.
Day 5-9 Curitiba/Ilha do Mel
A young, well-managed and vibrant city, Curitiba is the capital of the State
of Paraná. It was once a major thoroughfare for Gauchos (the Argentinean equivalent
of the cowboy) and their cattle; today its modern economy is centred on coffee
culture. The city has a large university student population, and it is a youthful,
energetic place. Historic buildings have been preserved, a handful of streets
are closed to cars and there are many parks, gardens and wide boulevards. Curitiba
will be our kick-off point for the trip by bus and boat to Ilha do Mel, perfect
for relaxing on the beach and sipping caipirinhas. After 3 nights on the island
we return to Curitiba for a night before travelling by bus to Paraty overnight
on Day 9.
Day 10-11 Paraty
After the night bus, arrive in Paraty, a quaint colonial town on the coast renowned
for its architecture, seafood, cachaca (Brazilian rum), and nearby beaches. Paraty's
bay is the perfect temperature for swimming, diving and snorkelling.
Day 12 Rio de Janeiro
Return to fantastic Rio for one last night out on the town.

Days 1-2 Cairo
Welcome to a city like no other. Take a walking tour to enjoy the madness of
Khan al-Khalili, Egypt's most famous souq, and soak up the spice-laden atmosphere
of Islamic Cairo before enjoying a traditional performance by the famous Sufi
dancers. Wander past the priceless treasures at the Egyptian Museum, and visit
the impressive Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza.
Days 3-5 Aswan
Get a taste of the fascinating local culture during a traditional lunch at a
Nubian village. Afterwards, a camel ride across dramatic dunes affords views of
the abandoned monastery of St Simeon. There is also an optional day trip to the
remote ancient temples of Abu Simbel. Then set sail down the Nile on a magical
overnight felucca journey, sleeping on deck under the starry sky.
Days 6-7 Luxor
Known as Thebes to the ancient Egyptians, this city is home to amazing treasures.
Take a donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings, site of the well-preserved tombs
of Egyptian Pharaohs, and wander through the spectacular Karnak temple. Later,
there is free time to hire a bicycle and ride out into the surrounding countryside,
or head to the Winter Palace to sip a cocktail and watch the sun set peacefully
over the Nile.
Day 8 Cairo
An early-morning return to Egypt's pulsating heart heralds the end of this Egyptian
adventure. For those with extra time, roam through the walled citadel for wonderful
views over the city, pick up some exotic trinkets at one of the many souqs or
escape the hazy chaos of the inner city with a farewell promenade along the banks
of the Nile.
